Vienna is among the leading Knowledge Cities in the world and we have contributed substantially to this success. Through our mother company, KMA Knowledge Management Associates, we have educated a huge number of Knowledge Managers, advised the governments of Vienna and Austria, contributes to the Knowledge Management Strategy of the Vienna city municipality and to the Federal Knowledge Management Strategy of Austria. We have advised major national and international Austrian companies, International Organisations in Vienna, like IAEA, UNIDO, OECD, ICMPD. We established the Austrian Knowledge Partnership and oranized more than 30 knowledge partnership events. Through the “Fest der 1000” or the “Vienna Knowledge Space” and the “Säule des Wissens“, we created an image of Vienna´s knowledge identity.

In 2015 we have nominated Vienna successfully for the Most Admired Knowledge City Award, and won the recognition for the city.
